MELBOURNE CONVENTION & EXHIBITION CENTRE

Conventions are boring.

For the MCEC-hosted convention about conventions, we wanted to break the monotony and shake things up. We decided to challenge the obvious clichés of conventions by using street art to create a series of disruptive posters that encouraged attendees to think big and challenge the status quo. These posters were strategically placed throughout the convention centre and along the route leading up to it, so that attendees were immediately met with a different kind of convention experience. We wanted to inspire and engage attendees by showing them that conventions don't have to be boring and predictable.
