AAMI DERBY DAY 2013

Dawn on the morning of the race.

In 2013, AAMI commissioned us to design an invitation for Derby Day that conveyed the excitement and sophistication of the event.

To achieve this, we used a hero photograph that depicted an intimate moment of reflection and imagined dawn on the day of the race. The image captured the essence of the event and generated a sense of anticipation.

To add depth and texture to the invitation, we used multiple print techniques including printed layers of tracing paper that simulated the morning fog in the photograph. The result was a unique and memorable invitation that gave recipients a real sense of the event and its atmosphere.
